But seriously, whatever reason is behind his need to disappear, he's ridiculously irresponsible... and the members of KT should just sink him in the Sea of Japan with an anvil tied to his neck.

Whether or not the official announcement is true, the fact of the matter is that now that Kat-tun is 5 people, it'll definitely affect everything from the shows that they're on, their CM contracts, and their album contract. (well, since they're just on an in-house JE label, I guess that'll be okay.) But the Docomo contract, and the Lotte contract, seriously, way to screw over everyone else just because you're a self-centered punk.

After I upgraded to Plus User, my layout parameters became out of whack due to the inserted ad... Thus I'll have to re-vamp it, which brings you this generic LJ-generated layout for the time being :)

I saw this in a Japanese JE fan diary and thought it was interesting enough to throw it out here for thought.


Anyways, this morning, in the news, there was an article about Mori Hikaruko San's stage reaching its 1800th performance, she's done it for 45 years... Mori Hikaruko for those that don't know is a veteran actress who is very good friends with Mary Kitagawa and thus chummy with JE talents such as Matchy San, Higashiyama San and Koichi from Kinki.


So anyways, some JE artists were at her performance, and they gave her a bouquet of 52 roses, symbolizing the 52 artists that belong to Johnny's Jimusho. (Basically, 52 debuted artists...)

I know I always preach that actors should try not to get typecasted, but I'm wrong about this drama... well hopefully I am wrong. The first episode of Taiyou no Uta was surprisingly good.


Although Sawajiri Erika plays another terminally ill girl, not only is her look completely different from 1L (and I have to give it to her, she looks good with the イマドキ少女 hair and makeup), I really have to say that her acting in this drama is completely different from 1L as well. I think most people will be surprised by her performance in this drama, there's a clear distinction from the 100% goody-two shoe act. I recomment those who were thinking to pass up on this drama because it's too much like 1L/Sekachu/etc give it a try. If anything, it's more like Kamisama Mou sukoshi dake, with the music industry thing... and hey it's been 8 years? since Kamisama mou sukoshi dake, so, hey, I think it's been long enough.


It'll be interesting to see which of these young actress comes out on top in a couple of years: Ueto Aya, Nagasawa Masami, Sawajiri Erika, Suzuki Ann, Horikita Maki, Inoue Mao.
